Intergalactic traveling
The Ancient's creations would thrive and live in their own home galaxies. Using the portals to travel between it's planets peacefully. One day the closed portals opened beautifully as a mirror looking into planets in other galaxies. But beauty only lasted until the fightings started to happen. God species started to collide through the portals and after learning the truth of their existence, death and destruction spread through the living realm like a virus, as everyone seeked victory for themselves and the path to the Aether. Each portal lead to a planet with more portals leading to new planets. The gods would only ask themselves, when would a portal lead to the Aether. Some locations were rewarding, with loot and strategic placements. Others however, brought death with traps and collision with other gods.
